[BWNA] BWNA Transportation and Land Use Meeting - Monday, October 15th from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Alameda Brew Pub

Hello folks,

 

We are going to have a transportation and land use meeting on Monday,
October 15th from 7:30 to 8:30 at the Alameda Brew Pub. We are meeting
at the brew pub since Fremont Coffee has gone out of business. This is a
temporary location until we find a more permanent location to meet. We
can discuss ideas for new meeting locations at the meeting. Items to
discuss at this meeting include:

 

*	Update on the status of Rose City Cemetery Associations plans to
build a new mausoleum on the corner of NE 47th and Shaver. 
*	Skinny lot development in the neighborhood. Residents in the
vicinity of NE 36th and NE Going have a developer partitioning land for
the purpose of building these skinny lot developments. A number of these
skinny homes have been built in the area and it is a concern to those
neighbors. Bill Barber, a new neighborhood planner with CNN will be at
the meeting to discuss possible options to addressing our concerns about
development on these skinny lots. 
*	Speed and traffic volume on NE 37th between NE Fremont and NE
Prescott Streets. 
*	New meeting location for the Transportation and Land Use
Meetings
