[BWNA] BWNA Tree Planting/Friends of Trees Reminder - Volunteers Needed for this Saturday!

Just a reminder that Friends of Trees is planting in the Beaumont-Wilshire neighborhood this Saturday, February 17th.  

Volunteers are needed and encouraged.  Weather report for Saturday: partly cloudy and 61 degrees...perfect tree planting weather!  Come out, lend and hand and meet some of your neighbors.  Anyone who wants to volunteer on a tree planting crew should be at the Wilshire United Methodist Church at 3917 NE Shaver Street at 8:30am on Saturday.  If you have a pick-up truck and are willing to bring it to deliver trees that would be even better - please be at the church at 8am.  We should be done early afternoon.

Finally, a few words of thanks.  The Wilshire United Methodist Church has graciously allowed us to use their parking lot to stage the planting.  Albina Community Bank and Ristretto Roasters have teamed up to provide coffee for the event.  Bagel Land and Delphina's are providing food.  When you are visiting these folks, please thank them for their generous support of this great neighborhood event.
