[BWNA] Veggie questionaire

Having never been to one of these picnics I seek clarification related 
to the veggies that will be cut at my house the night before.

After they are cut, then what?
Will they be stored in plastic baggies or on platters or what?
Where do we get the platters or bags?
Where do they get stored/ refrigerated?
How and when do they dance their way to the proper picnic table?
